Problems with Data Generator .. data editor

In the data generator when I click on 'Data' for a certain column and try to type in something in the data editor e.g. sysdate or if I double click on one of the pre-set list, the cursor moves but I do not see any characters in the data editor window.
However, if I were to click OK on that popup window, the entered text is seen in the main data generator window.

I am not sure if I have explained this properly, but this is weird.

You mean it looks like you have an editor where text is the same as the background? Can you confirm this, and try select all (ctrl-a) to see if text shows?

I think you are right. However, the text does not show when I do a CTRL-A.

Can you confirm this is an editor issue by selecting all and copy all to the clipboard (ctrl-c) and paste in another editor. If the text pastes correct, we'll check the editor.

Yes the text pastes correct. So I think it is an editor issue.
