problems starting PSD 7.1 - network install

My company has PSD 7.1 installed on a networked drive. I can start PSD with an shortcut that points to the location of the .exe file.

I have set up the associations so .sql files should open with PSD, but when I click on a .sql file, PSD 7.1 starts but the .sql file is not opened. Instead, I get PSD with no windows open and a windows error popup saying "Windows cannot find '. Make sure you typed the name correctly, and then try again. To search for a file, click the start button, and then click search".

If PSD was already open, then the test sql file is opened in a new SQL window.

Has anyone seen this before? I'm sure it must be something with my machine since others here do NOT have this problem.

To fix this you can upgrade to the current 7.1.4 version.

Thanks for the reply Marco.

I'll ask to find out if we have any plans to upgrade our install to 7.1.4.

In the meantime, do you know of what may be causing this odd behavior? In our office, I am the only one experiencing this error even though we are all sharing the same network installation.

The problem is related to a Windows patch. I'm not sure which one though.
