problem with TOracleDirectPathLoader and oracle9.dll

I am trying to use TOracleDirectPathLoader but an exception EOracleError with message
"Eaccess violation" in oracle9.dll.

I used client 9 for oracle with delphi5 doa 3.4.4

This occurs when Loader.prepare is executed. What am I doing wrong?

This seems to be an Oracle Net 9 bug, for which we do not yet have a solution.
