Problem with Recovery

We are on MS 2000 Service Pack 4 and have noticed a problem with recovery - it doesn't always recover.

If we kill a PLSD instance and logoff most of the time when we log back on and start PLSD there is no prompt for 'do you want to recover'.

We are using the default settings and storing the recovery files wherever it is that PLSD stores them.

Any ideas (other than "don't do that")?

The recovery files are stored in the Windows temporary directory (the TMP or TEMP environment variable). Perhaps this directory is completely cleared when you log on in Windows?
