I was experimenting with placement today and I docked the Browser to the top of the window, vice the left, and my tabs became kind of unuseable (they are visible, but no text is on the tab).
I have the Browser, Window List and Templates in the window so there are 3 tabs present. I then changed the docking site from left to top and the tabs move from on top to on the left of the window and the text disappears. Moving the window back to being docked to the left does fix the tabs (they go back to top and with text). Moving from top to undocked leaves the tabs on the left with no text though.
