printing font

I need a little font direction.

When I print, the font used is proportional, so nothing lines up.

How do I configure the font used for printing? BTW, I've set up my editor font to be fixedsys.

The printing font is the same as the editor font.

I did a little test with fixedsys, and it does indeed not work. I assume this is caused by the fact that this is a bitmap font. Using an OpenType/TrueType font like Courier New or Lucida Console should fix the problem.

It would be nice if the print font could be different than the editor font.

My graphics card is limited so I have a high resolution and the fonts look smaller. It's the only one that works with my monitor. I compensate by having larger fonts, but printing isn't so nice.
