Preferences not being applied to the editor window

Something weird going on here :s anyway, I wanted to say that I've saved preferences for PLSQL< and when I go into the preferences settings I can see it's been saved, but it's not being applied to the editor window. For example font colours for strings, or having the keywords uppercase. Any ideas?
Can you go to Help > Support Info, press the 'Copy all pages' button on this info screen, and paste this text into an e-mail reply?
I see you are using PL/SQL Developer version 5.1.6 on Windows 7. This is unfortunately not certified.
