plugins and Query Builder

I went looking through the plugin document and didn't find anything to tell me that I could or couldn't write a plugin for the QB; is it possible?

You cannot create a Plug-In for the Query Builder, but you can create a Plug-In that is a Query Builder (like the Active Query Builder Plug-In). It's not yet documented though.

uh, so Active QB is not the QB that comes with 7.0.3????

I see now that it isn't. I downloaded and I am trying it out.
