My previous employer (Credit-Suisse) used PL/SQL Developer. Now I'm working for a company that uses TOAD. When I first got here, I thought, OK, I'm going to have to re-learn TOAD. I used it a long time ago (10 years ago).
I found it difficult to use. So difficult that I looked into how much it would cost to purchase my own copy of PL/SQL Developer. I was pleasently surprised to find it very affordable for an individual to own. Now, this old dog doesn't have to learn new tricks. I can take it everywhere I go.
I installed it on my system at work and everytime one of my co-workers stands over my shoulder, they ask about the tool. They always comment how easy it is to use, they like the functionality and the minimum of clicks it takes to do anything. (I have a lot of macros saved on my toolbar for everyday things)
The other thing I like is this forum. Help always comes quickly.
Anyway, I just wanted to say well done!
