PL/SQL Developer version 9.0 vs 7.0 questions

I want to upgrade but need to show that that its better.

For example -
does 9.0 dupport 64 bit client?
does 9.0 show variables longer than 255 chars in debugger.
Right now when I look at debug variables e.g. a SQL that is long (but within 4000 chars) - it just shows (long value) in the debugger.
what support does it have for object types/nested table columns that 7.0 may not have?
