PL/SQL Developer stopped working

Hi there, I'm about to throw the PC out the window. My PS/SQL Developer was working fine. As before I updated my tnsnames to add a new database to link to, but now all I get is ORA-12541 No listener. This is just since this morning, was working fine yesterday, but as I didn't login today before updating the tnsnames, I don't know if it was concidentally broken before. Everyone else in the office is fine including one person using the new tnsnames file. SQL+ works fine and if I remove the tnsnames file I correctly get ORA-12154 - can't identify connector, which all ties in with clicking i on help in sql developer which says it is pointing to the correct tnsnames location. I can tnsping the remote database server ok. It is not just related to the remote database server where the new database had been added, I can't get to any database on any of the remote servers, so it's definately something with my pc. Tried reboot and in desperation renaming old tnsnames from other user accounts loaded clients, though never been an issue before. Any assistance would be most welcomed. I'm not a network wizard and am totally stumped. I expect it's something really simple, but can't find any clues.

Can you start PL/SQL Developer without connecting, go to Help > Support Info, press the 'Copy all pages' button on this info screen, and paste this text into an e-mail reply?

Thanks for replying Marco, have just sent an email with the info you requested. It is definately finding the correct tnsnames. Just edited it to have only 1 entry and it showed correctly in the drop down etc. Out of desperation, uninstalled the application (was V 8.0.4...) and installed a newer V9.0.1, but still no difference.

Cheers
