PL/SQL Developer and other software.

When PL/SQL Developer is running it prevents to start other apps like TextPad Editor or InstallShields Setup. It happens only with PL/SQL Dev 6, never occured with PL/SQL Dev 5.

That is very strange. Can you describe exactly what is happening? When you say "running", do you mean executing SQL or PL/SQL, or do you mean "started". How do you try to start other applications like TextPad, and how are they prevented from starting? Is there an error message? Does this happen with all applications, or just some? Does a reboot help?

Okay - by "running" I mean "started" - nothing is executed in PL/SQL Developer.

Other application (by double-click on executable) does not start there is no error message - Setup.exe created by InstallShields cannot start always, Texpad Editor from time to time. When PL/SQL Dev exits then app starts immediately. Re-booting PC does not help.

I have just noticed - when PL/SQL Dev started - right mouse click on Text object in Window or Window Explorer, and select Texpad from the menu list - Texpad hangs. However, choosing 'Send To Texpad' menu option - Texpad works fine.
