pl/sql developer 7.1 doesn't start

Hi there...

My name is Alexis. I live in Peru, SouthAmerica. I think your product is amazing... My english level is not very well... Sorry for that!

I have installed the latest version of your product:
http://www.allroundautomations.com/download/plsqldev710.exe

However, I have a big problem... the software doesn't start...

Let me explain the complete situation:

1. Double click in the software's icon on the desktop.

2. The "program's about window" appears in front of my eyes...

3. I tell myself "You have to wait a few of seconds to see the new version of this program"

4. The "program's about window" leave my desk...

5. So the program can't start.

I use Windows XP SP 2, Zone Alarm (antispyware, antivirus, firewall), Oracle XE (express edition)



Any sugestion?

Can you try the following?

1. Go the PL/SQL Developer installation directory, and into the Preferences directory.
2. Rename the directory with your Windows username to .disabled.
3. Try to start PL/SQL Developer again.

Let me know what happens.

I followed your suggestions.

If the program finds a folder called .disabled, it creates a folder called

is the program smart? Can it know that I changed the folder's name?
