PL/SQL Dev version 6.0.2

We have recently installed new version 6.0.2 of PL/SQL developer on our Windows 2003 machines.
Have two problems :

1. Can't open a new office document after we have opened PL/SQL Developer. When we close PL/SQL Dev, then spreadsheet pops up.

2. Unable to save our preferences, when PL/SQL dev is restarted, all saved preferences are gone.

Please let us know if there are any solutions for these problems.

Has PL/SQL Dev finished opening? It starts up and prevents other apps from becomes the "top most" app.

It turned out that the problem is related to on-line updates and specific firewall settings. You can download this preliminary patch to fix the problem.

Thank you Marco for your prompt reply. We downloaded this patch and now we can open office document with a opened PL/SQL dev session.

But we are still not able to Save Preferences, Please let us know about it.
