What exactly do you mean by "logging onto the LINNUX machine using NX NOMACHINE"?
Are you using Windows 7 on Linux using a Windows Emulator?

This is what allows me to "log onto the LINNUX machine using NX NOMACHINE".
I have been told it is not an emulator. Beyond that I do not know what else it could be. I have not had the time to acquire that knowledge yet.
My environment includes
PL/SQL Developer Version 9.0.2.1621
Operating System: Ubuntu
Server: Linnux
Oracle 11g
Windows 7 Professional 64 bit

What causes the entire PL/SQL Developer to become disabled while I amn the session only occurs after I copied do a CTRL C to copy data.
This phenomenum occured after I cut and pasted some code from a text pad
into the code window.
This has happened to me before and I was not sure what caused it until
it happened again, this time.

I assume that WINE is the cause of the problem then.

I strongly disagree.
I am using Crossover for that (Wine with convenient setup), and have not such problems.
There is annoying stuff, but... it's also in pure windows so I blame Marco for that!!!! ;-)
PL/SQL Developer on Linux works pretty well, I am using Debian Wheezy, Gnome3 and Crossoverhttp://www.codeweavers.com .
Give it a try with crossover there is also a trial for that.
BTW WILL THERE BE A LINUX BUILD??? I AM WILLING TO MAKE ALPHA TESTS!!!!!!!!!!
