PL/SQL crash

Help! I 've just installed my webcam drivers and last version of DirectX. Now if I open PL/SQL i go on table view and I make a righ click on a menu item (describe, query) for a table... the program crashes without any message.
I unistalled the drivers and directX with the WindowsXP restor functionality but and it keeps going on crashing.

Operative system: Windows XP.
PL/SQL version: 5.1.2.682
Drivers installed: logitech quickcam messanger
DirectX version: 9.0b

Can you go to Tools > Preferences > Options tab page, select "Force OCI7 mode on OCI8" and try again? If this fixes a problem, it may actually be a client/server compatibility issue.
