pinned window list entries ?

Can someone please explain to me how I can remove the "pinned" mark for entries in the window list?
These markings have been set unintentionally, automatically and I have not yet found an option to control this.
I am using the "Dual Session" mode. The check boxes under "Multiple Connections" (Preferences|Oracle|Connection) are not marked.
