Parameters into Reports

Hi. A quick question that may turn into an enhancement request
smile.gif

When I define a report, I'd like to be able to get it to execute for the currently selected object. It seems to be possible to pass this to an external tool (via #object, #otype, #oowner). Is there a way to do it with reports?

If not can we have that in a new version?

Thanks

John

P.S. I'm new to PL/SQL Developer after using T**D for a number of years. It Rocks!

Go to the add-ons page and download the BrowserExtender, install it, and have a ball. It will allow you to run reports feeding in any object from the browser you care to right click on.

One of the great add-ons you will find there, with VCS, PL/SQL Doc, and others...

Wow. Browser Extender is really cool.

I've set up an item to execute 'replaced' SQL in a Report Editor. Does anyone know if I can avoid the SQL being displayed and being prompted to save when I close its window (without losing that functionality when I modify a report)?

I think this is currently not possible, and requires an enhancement for the Plug-In interface. We'll look into this.
