Hello,

We have some interface applications written in Delphi + DOA that run 24/7 on a server. They have OracleMonitor in "uses" section.

Recently we got the exception in the subject when trying to start one of the applications. There are only ~10 instances running total.

When I examined OracleMonitor Applications panel, a lot of non-running applications are listed. Right Click - Delete Inactive does not work. They seem to be active. Can we remove this entries from oracle monitor?

How can we avoid this exception in the future?

Thank you.

I'm not sure how this could happen. Is it possible for you to reboot the server to clear any "ghost" applications?

I believe some of the ghost entries belonged to applications that were killed using Task Manager.

Unfortunately it is very hard to restart the server. I was wondering if there was any way to remove the entries without restarting.

Also, it would be appreciated if you could suggest a programmatic way to avoid "Maximum 100 clients allowed" error.

Thank you.
