OracleDataSet inserts empty_lob instead of NULL

Hi!

We have finally started to use DOA 4.0.6, but have run into a problem.

We have a table with a BLOB-column. If we insert a row where the BLOB-value is NULL into this table using a TOracleDataSet, DOA inserts an empty-blob instead. The NullLOBIsEmpty-property of the Session-object is set to false.

Until now we have been using DOA 3.4.6, and this behavior is new in DOA 4.

i have the same problem. Do you have already a fix available ? I've checked the history file for the 4.0.6.2 and the error seems to no be fixed in this release

Shortly can mean anything. If you take the history of the universe as a reference, "shortly" could mean a few million years.

We have 4.0.7 planned for the end of this month though.
