Oracle XE - ORA-01986

Hi,

I'm running a old application (Delphi 5, DOA 3.4.6.1) with Oracle XE (10.2.0.1.0).

The error I get when logging into the database is:
ORA-01986 - 'OPTIMIZER_GOAL is obsolete'.

The closest thing I have found is the property TOracleSession.OptimizerGoal witch is set to 'ogFirstRows'.

Can anyone help me?

Staffan,
IIRC then is V4 of DOA the only running version for Oracle10; you'll need an update from v3 to v4.

Okey, after a quick upgrade .. and some minor code changes .. I have now a working app again!
