Ora9i OCI problem

I have installed a laptop (preparing for a customer site demo) with D6 and latest DOA. Laptop is Win2000 and has Oracle9i ("Personal") option running on it.

From within the Delhi IDE, if I run sample DOA applications (DeptEmp) I get several "OCI.DLL Unable to load module" type errors (many of them) then the app shows up with no data connection.

Odd thing, same compiled program running outside the IDE works perfectly.

Anyone have any ideas? Thanks...

If there is a design-time / run-time difference, then perhaps you have set the OracleHome or OCIDLL design-time preferences from the Oracle menu?

It can also be that you have set the OracleHomeName or OCIDLL variables at run-time.
