ORA-01460

[m_merges]

PL/SQL Dev 4.0.3.416 under Win2K

When I kill a PL/SQL dev session and reconnect and select describe or try to open a package specification I get the ORA-01460 error message and get no data. I have to close the tool and rerun again. Any idea why or how to solve this problem?

Where can I check DATABASE LINKS, no item in dropdown list in Object window. When do u develop this feature?

Both items are addressed in the current 5.1 release. Maybe it's a good idea to upgrade

We upgraded to 5.1.3.704, but the error comes continuously after kill a session and reconnect. Any other improving idea???

2. In the new version in SQL window double click doesn't highlight the whole line only the closest word to the cursor. What parameter affects this?

Maybe this is an environment problem. Can you go to Help > About, press the 'Info' button, press the 'Copy all pages' button on this info screen, and paste this text into an e-mail reply?

Unfortunately the triple-click option is no longer available.
