Open windows and icons

Probably this is not an pl/sql developer issue but I need some help.

This is the first time happen to me. I am new to this client and when I try to open any file (sql, command, program, etc) I see the icons instead of a list of files.
I change the settings on windows explorer to all my directories use list instead of icons. It didn't help.

It is really anoying everytime change from icons to list when I try to open or save as a file.

Any ideas?

I assumed this goes for "File Open" dialogs in all modern Windows applications on this system? I could not find any method to affect the default file view of the File Open dialog.
