New plug-in: CompareSource

I just sent this new plug-in to Marco for posting.

CompareSource is a front-end to the ExamDiff program distributed with PLSD. You can compare the source currently displayed in the Program Window against 1) source in any file, or 2) source from any schema in the DB.

Well, Marco gets first blood on the plug-in, so rollout will be delayed until I fix a bug and make an enhancement.

I use it, though not very often. It can only compare the source in the procedure window with code in a file on disk (I couldn't get the API call to work and haven't the time to talk it over with Marco).

What problems are you having?

yeah that's what I can do also - only compare to file. good 'nuff
