New Install of PLSQL Developer 11.0.4 not working

Hi,

I just installed a copy of PLSQL Developer 11.0.4 (64 bit) and I am trying to get this working.

I have installed the Oracle Client 32 bit.

I have also added a tnsnames.ora and sqlnet.ora file to the my Client / Network/ Admin directory.

I then went into the Environmental Variables and add the Oacle client path to the PATH statement.

However, when I try and use PLSQL Developer I cannot connect.

When I check the information it is not loading the TNS Names files.

I am able to ping the server that the database is on.

Any ideas?

You need 64bits client with plssqd 64bits.

or you can use 32 bits plsqldev with 32bits client.
