Mutliple Template Directories

Hi.

Is there a method to set multiple template directories? Similar to the files sidebar it would be great to for example have a template folder for my personal templates, team templates and general templates. But when I add those folders to the files sidebar, I just can open the whole file but not insert it (and auto execute substitution variables) into a sql window.

Can somebody help me?

I think what you are asking for is for your team templates to be on a shared directory and use them. If that's what you like (and I would also), then there's no way to do that. It is possible to copy your team templates into the PL/SQL Developer template directory and use them though. I suspect you know how, but just in case, here is how:

Don't put your templates into the files sidebar. Select "View | Template List" if your template sidebar is not showing. Now, in an empty space, right click and select New Folder. Give it a name. Now, put your templates in there and you can use them like the other templates. If you have a lot of templates, you can open %APPDATA%, then select the PLSQL Developer 14 folder (or whatever version you have), then "Template" folder and paste them all in your new folder.

Hi and thanks for your replies. I will see forwards to this feature, as it would greatly improve our daily use of templates and the user experience with the developer within our corporation.
