Minor inconsistency in clipboard key shortcuts

Hi,

Great update! There are some really nice features in version 6.

I was happy to see that clipboard copy and paste can now also be done using ctrl-insert and shift-insert. This functionality is however missing in the large data editor. Can you please include this in a next update?

Many thanks!

Rob

Thanks Marco, that works... but then the ctrl-c/v functionality is gone... oh well :)

I'm an ambidexterous mouse user; sometimes I mouse with my left hand, using ctrl/shift-insert for the clipboard. Other times I mouse with my right, using the ctrl-c/v clipboard shortcuts.

It's a great way to avoid RSI, really!

I just installed the PL/SQL Developer version 6.0.4.906 on a new PC, and when I press Ctrl + Shift + Right Arrow (to highlight the text one word at a time) or Ctrl + Right Arrow (to jump over one word at a time) nothing happens.

This used to work in the same version on the old PC (I'm 100% positive, because I use this keys every day while writing the code).

Is there an option in Preferences I forgot to enable, or is this feature gone for good?

Thank you in advance.
Ivan C.

I found the answer in one of the forums.

Even though this is a bug, but it's fixable by pressing the "Reset to Default..." button in Tools -> Preferences -> Key Configuration.

Note: This will erase any keys you've set up yourself.
