Memory Fulll during results export

We have had several people report 'Memory Full' errors during export of large result sets. I assume that this is because it is using the swap file to cache the results.

If this is the issue, will that still be the case when the icon to automatically export the results (hopefully) reappears in the next release, or does that use the same process as waiting for the first result rows and then exporting the results?

If so, is there any other option than SPOOLing the output to a text file for large result sets?

You can already export query results directly to a file without any memory overhead in 7.1. In the SQL Window you can use the "Export Query Results" button to the right of the SQL Editor.
