Logon window Database list not populating from LDAP

Is there a way to get the Database list in the Logon window to be populated with the TNS aliases that are stored on our LDAP server? Our system admins do not distribute the addresses to our local tnsnames.ora file. I have to manually update my tnsnames.ora file so I can have a list of available databases presented to me in the Database dropdown listbox. Keeping them in sync with the official aliases on our LDAP server is very tedious.

No, this is currently not possible. The database list can only be populated from a tnsnames.ora file.
