Our purchasing department didn't know the difference between the prior service contract and the new support contract and assumed they were the same.
Because of this we wasted our money on something we don't use which is e-mail support.
Now we have to go buy the upgrade to get from v15 to v16 and I would like some clarification.
Do we need to rebuy v16.1, v16.2, etc when they come out as well? I don't see anywhere on the website that says you won't make me buy every minor version and your licensing page does not cover it athttps://www.allroundautomations.com/license-terms.
Will we need to buy the "Support Contract" to get minor versions?
What will the release cadence for major versions look like now? They've been anywhere from 1 to 3 years in between in the past.
I was excited to get v16 today so I uninstalled my old one and installed the new one and BOOM! This key won't work with this version....
Now I have to do paperwork and get it approved and play the waiting game....
