Large data editor takes a long time to copy-paste 1 MB large XML doc

I have a test script with a CLOB variable. I open the large data editor to copy-paste some xml data into the clob. An xml with a size of 840,000 bytes takes 2 minutes 40 seconds (!) to load.

Re-opening the large data editor takes 3-4 seconds (probably due to xml parsing), but this is acceptable.

Please investigate and fix this copy-paste delay ASAP.

I am using version 11.0.5.1790, 64 bit
