Kylix RH7.1 DOA-Installation hangs...

Hi,
i tried to install Doa 1.0 for Kylix under Redhat 7.1, but the installer hangs during installing Doa. I started setup.sh and entered the Product-Code, then i waited 1 hour, but the Installer showed only the hourglas-icon...

I then tried to install "setup" of /usr/local/kylix/Direct Oracle Access 345 -> the same, the installer hangs (i waited also 1 hour!!!)

Wat can i do?

That's a tough one. Can you try it as a different user, from a different directory, or even on a different Linux machine (if you have one available)?

Maybe this will provide a clue about the problem.

I just downloaded the trial DOA for Kylix, and I must say: congratulations!

It worked just in no time on RH 7.1, only setting the ORACLE_HOME and path to $ORACLE_HOME/bin and I got connected to my Oracle database on a Linux server.

Just beware that if you unzip the doak1.gz.tar under windows with winzip it will not work, unpack the file in linux.
