Maybe there is a way to do this already, but a large source of frustration for me is that everytime I start the Program, I get my windows loaded in a seemingly random fashion. I've used Window\Save Layout, still have the problem. I've directly edited the .dsk file which worked, but was overwritten the next time I started the program.
I may have 15 windows open at once and it becomes a real chore to search for the correct window.
Why not load the windows in project items order when opening an existing project. That way if the order is not to your liking, you can adjust the project items, save and re-open the project to adjust the window order.
Also I have a suggestion for the next release concerning this. How about giving the ability to store windows in the window list in a folder that can be collapsed and expanded. Also the ability to give this folder a color. Aka the way Photoshop handles it. This would allow us to group install scripts, test queries, ect.
One more thing... what about an "standby" button that you can press that will save all of your queries to the backup directory, but not force you to name temporary unsaved queries. This way you can click standby, save everything and go home. Sort of like forcing a desktop recovery for those times when you have to leave in a hurry and don't have the time to decide if you need to save that query or not.
Thanks much!
