Issue with Explain Plan Window

Hello,

When analyzing explain plans with Explain Plan window under Oracle 10g it is noticed that "Optimizer goal" field forces first rows mode even if Oracle instance settins is first_rows_100. Can this be customized to match Oracle instance set up exactly? PL/SQL Developer version is 7.1.4. If it is not currently possible will it be addressed in the upcoming version of PL/SQL Dev?

This is indeed a known issue. It will be fixed.

Thanks for your reply. Are you talking about a fix in the next version of PL/SQL Dev? What is the expected release date of new version?

If we decide to release a 7.1.6 version, it will be included. If not, it will be included in 8.0 in the 1st quarter of next year.

Can you please tell when decision about release of 7.1.6 (or not) is to be made? It would be great to know about the plans in advance.

At the moment have no plans yet for a 7.1.6 release before 8.0.
