Hi,
In Mocrosoft products (Word,Excel etc), and many other software has zoom sliders. On word this is in the bottom right side of window, is there any similar functionality in PLSQLD please?

I am a traveller and I use different monitors all the time , so if I had something like that in PLSQLD would be really useful to easily adjust the content sizes.

Thanks
Sanj

The Ctrl + +/- don't seem to do anything on mine. By the way what is meant by "Police Size" please?

Thanks
Sanj

You can use the Ctrl key in combination with the + and - key on the numeric keypad to change the font size of the current editor or grid. You can change the function keys on the Key Configuration preference page.

Ah that was it, my laptop don't have a Numeric Keypad, so I changed the key combination and it works. However its only changing font size of the editors window, not a zoom, the other text like window names etc remain same size. Now that this version has automatic scaling based on screen resolution, can we not have a proper zoom/unzoom scaling based please?

It is always best to have your monitor scaling set properly. Otherwise all applications and all windows functions will not have the proper scale on that monitor.

In Windows, go to Settings > System > Display and set the "Scale" of the monitor to an appropriate value.

When using multiple monitors with different scaling factors on Windows 10, you can use the "Change High-DPI Settings" option of the PL/SQL Developer shortcut to override the scaling behavior.

To do so, right-click on the PL/SQL Developer shortcut, select "Properties", go to the "Compatibility" tab page, and click on the "Change High-DPI Settings" button. You now have the following options:
  • Disable the "Override high DPI scaling behavior" option. This is the default behavior. All text and controls will be scaled according to the scale factor of the monitors in the Windows Display Settings.
  • Enable the "Override high DPI scaling behavior" option and set the "Scaling performed by" option to "System". Now all text and controls will be scaled by the operating system and will therefore be blurred on high DPI monitors.
  • Other "Scaling performed by" options do not display correctly.

Sweet!!!

I love this feature, including the ability to define my favorite keys.
If anyone cares, I set mine to match most browsers:

Font Size Increase = Ctrl and +
Font Size Decrease = Ctrl and -
