Hi,
We have users in our team, installing PLSQLD when new user joins, so want all to use a base look and feel the same. Also when someone gets a new laptop they would want to keep the same look in a easy way.

Is this possible at all?

Also we notice every time we get an update, it overwrites the policies.cfg so our changes are lost. Is this going to be looked at please?

Thanks
Sak

The default preferences for new and existing users are stored in the Default subdirectory in the PL/SQL Developer installation. For example:

C:\Program Files\PLSQL Developer 13\Preferences\Default\Default.ini

You can define a set of default preferences in PL/SQL Developer, and use the resulting personal preference file (%APPDATA%\PLSQL Developer 13\Preferences\User\Default.ini) as the new system default preference file.

Thanks Marco, when you save Layout (View Menu) is Default.ini where the changes gets updated as well please? This time i mean the appearance of the PLSQLD.

So isnt there anyway we can export and deploy the appearance of PLSQLD please? We have some issue documenting things and making references where users have configured different layouts. We are trying to define a common layout so all of us can use the same in our teams.

Thanks
Sak
