Hi,
Just interested to see if anyone know a way to name the connections. I have been using tnsnames where i can name the connection to anything, but some installs only got instant client where we have to enter the serverName/ServiceName in the PLSQLD Database , that is where I am trying to see if I can setup any ALIAS name for the connection which is more meaningful to users.

Thanks in Advance
Sak

You can go to Configure > Connections. For each connection you can define a display name. You can also define connection folders to place connections in a hierarchy.

Hi Marco,
The configure connections only show the below teo items and i cant see any of my saved connections in this window
1. Imported Fixed users
2. Imported History

they are both blank (do you know why they are blank? what is meant to show here please?).
All my current Connections are displayed under "Recent" in the connections window, Wouldn't it be nice to have Right mouse click on these to be able to add display name?

Since Recent folder isnt appearing in Connection configurations, i have no way to add a display name to my saved connections?

Thanks
Sak

You can first create new folders and delete folders you don't need.

Next, right-click on a "Recent" connection and select "Add to folder".
