I'm running PL/SQL Developer on Ubuntu
Details:
PL/SQL Developer: v13.0.6.1911 (32bit)
Ubuntu 20.04LTS with Xfce4 desktop
Wine 5.0
All seems to work fine, except the Beautifier rules.
Whenever I try to save new Beautifier rules, I get the message "Error: Interface not supported".
If I click on "browse" for the Rules file, I get the message "Error: Cannot make a visible window modal".
I assume these are GUI glitches as a result of running under Wine.
Luckily, I already have an existing Beautifer file that I would like to install.
Does anyone know of a workaround where I can manually install an existing Beautifer file without relying on the GUI please?
Also, anyone know of any extra options within Wine to get the GUI working better with PL/SQL Developer?
Wish list - Linux port perhaps?
