I am currently trying to install the 7.0 version on win2k. When lauching the setup I get asked for the product code, after entering it it shows that this is a 50-user license and I click on the green checkmark for a second time.
After that amessage pops up saying all files were unpacked and "PL/SQL Developer setup will start now". The only option in this window is to click "Okay" and then nothing starts at all.
Clicking okay either just closes the window with no other effect or brings up an "unknown software error" sometimes. The unknown error then is followed by an "Exception EOSError in Module pls-setup.exe" with an error code 1400 in case that is of any help.
Can anyone give me a hint on what I am doing wrong (except from using win2k, it is currently not an option to change this)?
