Inquiry: Project file types

I PLSD 7, only certain filetypes can be opened in the editor - has this changed since then?

I am asking because I'd like to use Projects and I'd like to keep working notes in text file that isn't named with a code file extension.

I see that I can add the text file to the project, but it opens in the Windows default text editor instead on PLSD's fine editor. That is a real bummer if all you have is Notepad!

Thank you.

I'm using PL/SQL Developer (PSD) Version 10.0.5.1710
I can open a .txt file via the context menu of File Browser.
It opens then in a PSD Program Window with flag "?". The highlighting doesn't make any sense at all there, but the file can be edited this way. You should just restrain from trying to compile this "Program". I can also add the .txt file to the project and when I reopen the project it shows up the same way again. Of course it would be really nice, if PSD could handle .txt files and other Text-File extensions like .log properly and would skip any highlighting then. This would also be really useful for text files generated via spool from a command window.

Marco,
Thank you for the reply.
Except for the TODO not scanning all files listed in the project this would be fine.
I know that the list is long, but please add this to the list of enhancements (either full support for txt files, or TODO scanning all files in a project).

Thank you.
