How to Change Password

Hi,
I am a new user on PL/SQL Developer version 7.0.2.1076 ..
My question is how can i change my password using PL/SQL developer, I am prompted to change my password when it expires, but i want to change it adhoc,i dont want to go through the oracle command line if possible and want to use any GUI interface if possible.
Would apprecite your help.

You can either "edit" your user by right-clicking the user in the Users folder, or install the "Change Password" plugin by Joachim Rupik.

Hi, i am not a DBA and just a user, so i tried editing my profile under users folder, by clicking on expire password and saving it, but it gives me an error saying "Insufficent privileges" - any help would be appreciated.

The command you're looking for is "password", which can be issued from SQL*Plus. PLSD doesn't support it.

oh ok, that is odd, as when your password is about to expire, PLSD prompts you to change it and you can change it too in PLSD itself , so i was hoping i could just initiate that process when ever i needed to adhoc as well ,
honestly i am a little surprised that such a simple task cannot be peformed by PLSD.
