ftp plugin

I have version 2.1 of the ftp plug-in. I've had this problem ever since I've upgraded to 2.1, but I've held off letting you know until I find how to reproduce it. I still can't reliably reproduce it, but maybe you can figure it out.

Every once in awhile, I go to FTP Open a file. The file path is my UNIX HOME directory instead of what I left it as. Like it forgot or something. If I try to switch to another profile, it gives me an access violation, but I don't see an error log generated.

If I change the path, it's OK and I can continue.

Also, if I close PL/SQL Developer (without fixing the path) and re-open PL/SQL Developer, the correct path is now there when I ftp open a file.

Thanks. We have Tru64 UNIX 5.1B

I don't know if it's helpful or not, but I have 3 profiles. When it happened yesterday, I was working on a program file that I reopened from the UNIX server, had a few other windows open and then tried to ftp open a command file. I can't reproduce it though. In the past I wondered if moving the Windows List around messed it up, but I couldn't reproduce that either.

Here is another annoying problem that may or may not be related. We store the spec and body in separate files. Every so often, the FTP plug-in messes up and overwrites the body with the spec. I'll ftp open the spec, ftp open the body, make changes, save them and the file for the body contains the spec. This has happened half a dozen times this last year.

I've kind of wondered if moving files in the window list confuses it? I can't make it happen every time though. I'm lucky it's obviously wrong when they are peer reviewed!
