ftp plug-in

Where I work, we are required to post all of our files in common UNIX directories. That way if someone is sick or something, someone else can work on it if needed.

The ftp plug-in is nice for this and I use it. When I "FTP open" a file, it takes about 10 seconds or so to list the 350+ files in the UNIX directory.

I don't know if it's possible, but it would be nice if the plug-in could list the files faster. Other FTP software I use can connect and list them in less than half a second.

I'm using version 6.0.6.947 of PL/SQL Developer and version 1.2.1.0 of the FTP plug-in.

Interesting. We'll do some performance tests and profiling to see if we can speed this up.
