Filter columns

Filter columns have unexpected behaviour.
For example: If I search first "aaa", then I want to search for "abb". When I type "a" filer automaticaly shows results for "aaa".
This is annoying since I use Filter columns a lot and I have many saved searches. Is it possible to turn off saved searches? Or it is possible not to have automatic recall of saved search until at least 3 characters are inserted?

Note that you can go to Preferences > User Interface / Appearance and disable the "Autocomplete dropdown lists" option to prevent this behavior.
