I am currently using PL/SQL Developer Version 8.0.4.1514
Windows 7 (64-bit) 6.1 Build 7601 (Service Pack 1)
I can log in to various DB just fine including a local Oracle DB on my machine. However, whenever I go to the File Browser and select one of my subfolders, I get an Unexpected Error and the only details say "Unable to insert an item". Then the file browser becomes unusable. And then when I click the X to close developer, I get pop ups saying Privileged instruction. I finally have to go to task manager and force close developer. I can run queries just fine and access everything, so it seems to just be an issue with file browser. I also tried to remove the mapping for the folder and map to another folder entirely, but it was the same result. I emailed support@allroundautomations.com, but figured I would post here in case someone else had a thought or figured this out already.
