Feature request: substitition variables in package window

Hi!

It would be nice to be able to use substitution variables when compiling packages.
We have big projects with central declarations used in all packages.

So it would be useful to have a Option to run a sql-script with DECLARE before compiling a package located in a file or if not possible to have the same options like the sql window (dialog).

Hi,

Assuming this thread is talking about 'project' variables that get substituted in SQL Window SQL (i.e. &var_x)... did this ever get implemented?

I'm on 6.0.6.947, but don't see this anywhere (obvious).

This is about compiling program units in a Program Window. Version 7.0 supports substitution variables in a Program Window.
