Export Objects other then current user

Is there any way to export objects from a user other than the user logged in ?

Typically we have personal user names but all users are granted select_catalog_role such that we can see all schema objects.

We get a lot of benefit from driving the IDE object browser and export tables functons from the DBA views and are hoping to extend this use to the Export User Objects tool.

No, this is not possible. We have had a few enhancement requests for this though.

Did this ever make it into a release ? I now need to do the same thing ie export all tables belonging to another user.

Not yet, but it will probably be added in 6.1.
