Export objects and all referenced objects

I can't find this addressed on the forums, but it's so obvious I have to believe that it's possible:
How do I select a package for export and have it include the ddl for all of the items referenced by that package?

It's not directly possible though. You would have to explicitly select the referenced (and indirectly referenced?) objects.
