Export / Import preferences

Hi Marco,

can you please ensure, that Export/Import preferences set all settings?

It can be discussed whether the path informations should be copied or not. But at the moment there are a lot of settings which are not affected by export/import.
So i must check any setting after installing a new PSD, thats really annoying.

To export and import complete preference sets and other setting, you can copy the following doirectory:

%APPDATA%\ PLSQL Developer 12\Preferences\

e.g:

C:\Users\\AppData\Roaming\PLSQL Developer 12\Preferences\

You can also copy settings like desktop layout, recent files, and so on by exporting and importing the following registry section:

HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Allround Automations\PL/SQL Developer 12

And what is the epxort/import feature for then?

It allows you to export and import specific parts of a preference set.

yes, but if the specific parts are not complete, this feature isn't really useful
